Any adults get diagnosed without parental involvement?

No parental involvement, just many hours of neuropsych tests.

Yeah, to the degree where lots of books claiming to be "complete" on AS turn out to be about children. Drives me nuts. One that comes to mind is the OASIS guide. I haven't read it, but I did have a look at the table of contents on Amazon. There's *one* chapter named "growing up", the rest is either about diagnostic criteria or stuff like "can this be MY child?" As if there aren't adults with AS.

But the fact is that we do grow up, our parents actually grow old and, eventually, die.
