I think Nutlog could probably do a lot of creative things if someone discovered him and knew what to do with him. Some people are really creative and intelligent but with no way of channeling their talents in a productive way.

Well I won an art award out of the whole school in year 5. I had a photo exhibit for my rock photography. That's it, but it's still pretty sweet.
I don't value my life on my accomplishments, but more for who I am and what obstacles I can overcome.

I own my own business.

I moved out of NJ to Ohio, when everyone else told me I would never do it.

I have a gorgeous girlfriend who I'm hoping to marry.

I managed to make the Honor Roll during my final semester of High School.

Not even 3 weeks after starting my job at my current place of work, I got a raise.

Can't really think of anything else major at the moment.

This reminds me of a class assignment we were once given. I listed awards and things like that I'd achieved that year. The teacher didn't seem impressed and wrote But these are all measurable achievements. At the time, I had no idea what that meant.

I nearly forgot...I also received an award; the Agnes Stoll White Memorial Award. Basically, it was given to the graduating high school senior that best exemplified the traits that Agnes Stoll White had during her life. It was nice! :)

Nothing that will wow employers or get me hired, but I'm surprised that I got through grades K-12 without flunking a year.

Also surprised that I got a B.A. degree with a double major in 5 years.

And I haven't killed anyone yet...no matter how much I wanted to.

There you go.

Lol if they were not measurable goals it would be impossible to know if you achevied them or not. I'd of made my goal to correctly predict both the momentum and position of a particle.

She was some big-name resident of the area I graduated from high school.

1. The effort I made to (just) get my Masters degree.
2. Sharing a cell with three priests after being protesting against nuclear weapons.
3. Helping to stop a hospital burning down. Sorta. :)
4. Trespassing into various places I found interesting.

- Graduated from school with an OP2 (wish it was an OP1)

- Am currently on a GPA of 6.25 (although it used to be 6.5) and on the Deans list for high achieving Arts students.

- Was selected as one of the top 10 singers in the state for my choir (in a group of the top 40 from 4 states) to travel around rural QLD on a Qantas sponsored tour to teach song and dance to children in outback towns. They made a documentary out of it.

- Got a High Distinction in the all schools Science competition thing (the one they do around Australia for each subject).

- Graduated school with straight A's in 6 subjects, but with a lousy B10 (the highest B grade) for Art. Still think I was robbed.

- Won prizes for poetry (once I got a free $5 smoothie a day for a month, that was great).

- Got selected to be in the 2004 Olympics Qantas Ad, was in the chorus for Boy From Oz with Hugh Jackman, sung Christmas carols on the Channel 10 news, and sung at 3 AFL Grand Finals (although I'm not sure these are "achievements" persay...)

- Won $50 (third place) in a competition for playing and singing one of my original songs. This meant a lot to me.

- Founded and ran my own acapella singing group for a year.

- Had a boyfriend for 7 months.

- Held three casual jobs at once, and got told at all 3 I was a good employee.

Wow... that made me feel better about myself.

I don't feel pride, nor do I suffer from low self-esteem, so listing anything would be simply hollow.

I guess... I know that I suffer from low self-esteem and it gave me a lift.

I wasn't speaking to anyone in particular; if it helps to see your accomplishments out in the open, especially as a list is far more tangible, and if you're feeling down due to something, it'd be a good idea to do such. I know psychos and psychics have asked me to do it for them, and I did, but I didn't feel anything, and I let them know that.

It's just not something for me, that's all, and if it helps you, cool (which it did, and you need not feel anything negative from what I said, as it was directed at myself).
