Question on memory

I have a pretty good long-term memory when it comes to recalling certain facts and certain events; but I am pretty much lacking in short-term memory, sometimes even unable to recall the place I had put something just a second after placing it there.

I am very similar !

When I google something and it takes more than about 5 seconds to load the page - I have NO IDEA what is going to pop up because I can't remember what I searched for ! !! :)
