IQ: 151

http://www.ravensprogressivematricestest.com/

At one point it got hard and I did not feel like thinking so guessed at a few, then I decided to finish the test while doing my fullest best. Once I focused, I am confident I got all the remaining ones right. I bet the ones I guessed at were wrong, I bet I could have capped the test if I focus through the whole thing.

Very interesting patterns! I felt like this test is more like how I think because I could feel my mind getting better and better at them.

No normal person could get the last ones, they require too much "alternate" thinking for the average or even above average person. For example, the last patterns use mathematics and binary logic - nobody thinks like that (except me because I am weird). So somehow someone would have to make the mental leap to think mathematically, thats just not normal. Thats why I say a normal person would not be able to get the last ones right.

Thank you, Sir!
....but it still isn´t an intelligence test as such.... yet you have to reason over different possibilities of serial devlopments.

Your IQ score is: 154
Your IQ Classification is: Genius
Your age adjusted IQ score is 154 and the average score for all test takers is 98.4.
Your Grade ** Genius **

For a lot of the test, I was wondering how anyone could possibly do badly on the test. It got pretty tough close to the very end. I think there were 2 questions where I had no clue and guessed wildly. The rest was pretty confident in my answer, although I was going very slowly by the end.

Well, I tried the new link out of curiosity (I tried it once before but couldn't get my score) even though I don't put much weight behind tests like these but for what its worth:

The last 5-6 questions were beyond me and I tried to rule out what answers were most likely wrong, then I guessed at the answers that remained.

Your IQ score is: 143
Your IQ Classification is: Near Genius
Your age adjusted IQ score is 143 and the average score for all test takers is 98.4.
Your Grade ** Genius **
Anyone with a general IQ this high is undoubtedly a genius.
From this range on, only specific high-range tests should be considered.
You have the ability to think critically, conceptualize ideas and form your own conclusions.
Your ability to think in patterns and to produce order out of chaos enables you to handle complexities and see logic in everything.
Needless to say you are self-aware of your abilities and have the brains for all known occupations.
If you think of intelligence as the ability to adapt easily to new situations then you are at the top of the charts.

The last recent test is surely not right? Does it just give out high scores? It says I did really well on it. 98.4 was average my came up as very superior intelligence, 129. I'm definately not that. It's a test that gives out high scores to get people in?

It a very rough measure on how good you basically are at recognizing visual patterns and of detecting and analyzing principles in changes of these patterns...what is changing in which direction and how many layers etc.

Many of us ASD people are good at exactly that.......

The advanced Raven is a lot harder - and equally harder to get hold of, because it is used by professionals. You can, however, snatch an example or two and check out the level, if you google Raven Advanced progressive matrices:

Interesting indeed. I had distractions so tried the test again. 130 seems it may be legit. Pretty shocked I scored so high.

LOL at this. Apparently whoever wrote this didn't take into account that Aspies do unusually well on this test.

Maybe it should read, "You are undoubtedly either a genius or an Aspie. Depending on which on these two you are, you may or may not have the brains for all known occupations."

Well, it is established, by other test methods, that aspies usually range from good average to highly gifted.

What are the usual scores on the advanced test? I'd imagine it would be exceptionally difficult. Near the end some of the questions on this test were incredibly hard
