I wont be engaging with your hypocrisy. You think you are "friendly"?

If I had a monocle it would have just fallen out

Good night. I do hate an unproductive late night argument.

I've found this site to be very friendly and helpful.. Then again, I haven't been a member for long so I maybe am not an accurate judge.

Alright I have to say this, because quite frankly, part of me will die in side, if I am not honest.

So what I'm about to say is coming from my personal experience on this site and IRL.

I've thought about saying this for quite a while but something was holding me back, but quite frankly at this point I cannot pretend.

In all fairness I realize that we've all been given a tough hand in life, but this alone cannot allow me to actively accept defeat.

My personal opinion is that many on this site have a severe problem with complaining, seeking out negativity, and in general feeling sorry for themselves.

Again I'm not saying this to be hurtful, I'm saying this, because it'd be immoral for me to withhold this opinion from you, as it's something I believe strongly.

Again I'm not saying you shouldn't voice your hurt, pretend to happy when your not, or to ignore your personal issues, what I am saying is if you seriously wanna improve your life in any shape or form, you have to acknowledge this severe problem that this site faces.

Amen to that.

I'd rather read threads of sorrow and misery than read the ''is [insert normal human trait here] an ASD thing?'' threads. When I see one of those threads, I don't post a reply at all. So people who dislike threads of misery should avoid posting a reply in the misery threads.

I "like" you .

I also feel like there is way to much of praising autism/aspergers on this site. We aren't better/smarter than everyone else just because of a "disorder".
We are just normal people with a bit of problems.

THIS. Thank you SO MUCH.

That, along with the NT-bashing I've seen on here... >__>;;

Autism elitism- Most people on this site disagree with that, and if someone does then people call them out on that. Depending on what they are saying the mods will take care of it because it can fall under TOS

It's not as simple as being positive.

I have no issue with venting in and of itself, it's the follow through that follows that upsets me.

Negative thoughts typically should be followed by action not inaction.

But yes I would agree.

Again the characterization that we have a desire for wishful thinking or bragging is absurd.

I ask an even simpler question to all of you.

Why is it, that alex's video's seem to have a near opposite direction than almost 95 percent of threads on this site?
