I don't know what we are going to do at this point. Its going to be a rocky road when we have two Republicans running for office.

you do realize that a vote not given to Hillary represents a vote unavailable to counter a vote for The Rump. what are you going to do when Rump gets in and with a monopoly lock on power, the GOP dismantles the safety net entirely?

You do realize that a vote for Hillary is a vote for Hillary Trump. She is the same as Trump. Just because they say they do different things and will go about it different ways the reality is Hillary has walked the Trump talk already so why the hell should I trust her any more than Trump. She created the Trump devil because she can only cheat so much so she created a bigger devil than herself to make herself look better. Their is no lesser evil. You have lost if you cannot see that now. She will exploit and hurt the less fortunate just as much as Trump will. She will end up making the Democrats look really bad and hand over both the Senate, the House and the presidency to right wing nut jobs and then you will suddenly realize that Hillary was a Republican this entire time. So my vote actually counts more than yours because I am actually voting for a different person as opposed to voting between two identical politicians.

You're doing the right thing, and I wish more people would consider voting for third party candidates. If you don't vote you're just giving your vote away.

when rump or suxpence gets in, it'll all be moot about who's wasting votes.

Good for you. Though Sanders is pretty much identical to Clinton on paper. At least Stein is against war. It really annoys me when people are voting for Clinton just cause they don't want Trump in, especially when there is someone like Stein who actually represents their beliefs.

So another 8 years of Clinton, who is just a Bush/Clinton/Obama clone? Nothing will ever change on this path. Though after 4 years I can see the Republicans calling for a more 'moderate' leader after Trump, so Clinton may as well be the Republican candidate in 2020.

Those who wish for Clinton to win are playing with ignorance. I know he's awful, but she's far worse.

This is an inherently political thread, but this isn't PPR. Please avoid insulting other people's political beliefs. For example, characterising someone as "ignorant" just because they disagree with you.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; "vote for Hillary or you're a bad person" is not an effective argument, and actively counter-productive in many cases.

One thing I do wonder is Trump even gonna do anything to help the autistic community such as employment and other things we need to survive this world?? All the research I've done so far on this so it seems that Hillary is the only one with an actual plan (whether she follows through with it is another story). I'm not the political type but I can't help but think if Trump gets elected he's just gonna leave us to the pasture. Sorry but a Trump presidency scares me.

OK. But people voting for Clinton are doing it based on ignorance or naivety. Cause I know there will be a lot of good people voting for her because of the Trump stuff etc and because they're loyal Democrats, but this woman is sheer evil and if they knew the full details I genuinely believe they wouldn't vote for her.

I think a lot of people with as good or better grasp of the facts as you have come to different conclusions and it's important that we respect that. Even with Trump, it's possible that some people are supporting him because it is their informed opinion that he'd be a good president. I haven't actually really seen much of that - it generally seems to be a case of "I'm voting Trump to stick it to the man/the Democrats/Clinton/Obama" or "Trump is less bad than Clinton", which are both fair views in their own way - but statistically there are bound to be some people who've taken a cold, detached view and come to a different conclusion to me.

The two big sticks that her detractors have been bashing her with - Benghazi and the emails - both seem to be cases where she's been cleared of any wrongdoing by parties actively trying to pin something on her. There is no evidence of wrongdoing wrt. Benghazi (according to House Republicans) or criminality wrt. the emails (according to the FBI).

Clinton's a long way from my ideal candidate (not instinctively liberal, not instinctively evidence-based, not prepared to stick to unpopular convictions), but she's someone I'd be willing to support. Of the six candidates who could theoretically win, she's the one who comes closest to my own views, not to mention the best qualified.

What do they know that I don't then? She got a child rapist's sentence reduced then laughed and bragged about it.

And OK, if you could watch this over the next week and then let me know if you've changed your mind?

She supports every war, giving arms to Al Qaeda and killing half a million children. I doubt you share her views.
