I believe everyone on this site deserves a nomination, but (like everyone) I know some people better than others, and so forth.

I would like to nominate:

Padium
: For his cool avator, his artisticness, and the way he shows so much interest in other peoples lives and achievements (which is unusual for an aspie).

PhR33kY: For being an amazing and dedicated friend.

Hale_bopp: For always trying so hard to be a better person, while not realizing that she is already the person she aspires to be.

millie
: For being an inspiration.

Shiggily
: For being a strong, admirable, individual (and being the person I secretly long to be).

Tim_Tex: For never giving up, and always reaching out a welcoming hand to new individuals who come to the site (these endeavours say a lot about his personality).

BellaDonna: For taking so much crap from other people and always bouncing back, and being a genuinely beautiful person who cares about others.

ToadOfSteel: For being a singer (that's an automatic +10 points for me  ), and for always adding something interesting to the conversation.

Just_me: For always thinking of others, even in the darkest times of her life.

poppylungstuffing
: for being unique and quirky in a way that is constantly delightful.

sinsboldly: for taking a thankless job and doing so well at it, also just for being cool. ;)

DentArthurDent
: for a simple thoughtful act that really touched me today.

Orbyss: Because she reminds me of one of my closest friends, and she seems wild and free to me, like a bird.

There are more, but my brain is freezing up and I have to go have dinner. I might resume this later.

Thankyou sunshower, You are such a nice person.
You are so willing to help those in need. You never ask for anything in return, you just want to help.

It means alot to me that you recognized my efforts to be a good person. I do not do it for the recognition, but to be recognized for it makes me feel like I'm succeeding at my goal.

The reason I try so hard is so I can be the exact opposite of my father. It is my way of undoing the damage he caused in this world. I want to be a good person , I want to pull myself up from my dark past into a brighter future.

I want to finnaly stop the cycle of abuse. I want to be the person who treats everyone around me with dignity and respect. I believe the world can be a better place and I know someday my hope's and dreams will come true and we will have a world of peace. It is happening one person at a time.

I hope you get good carma for being such a good person. I want you to know your doing your part to better this world by bringing kindness into it.

I want to nominate you for being a good supportive member of this site. You embody all the ideals this site was formed on.

So please accept the prestegeous WP member award! For being everything this site stands for.

I know, but it affects me in the same way that the username poopylungstuffing affects me - I can't help but imagine/'feel' the meaning.

Thanks! Though I am confused.... is it because of my often changing avatars? I love images and I think they say a lot more than words can.

Wow... I am lost for words just-me. I am really touched that you think so highly of me, and millie too (thankyou). I want you to know that your efforts to help people and be a positive influence on this site have not gone unnoticed.

I would like to nominate Greentea for her inspired topics and her awesome "bull in a china shop" icon (I often find myself thinking about that icon at random moments during the day).

I would especially like to nominate all the parents of ASD children on this site, who care so much about their children that they give everything of themselves; their time, their energy, their thoughts, and sometimes even their emotional well-being trying to understand their children and do the best they can by their children.

I have had contact with a few parents on this site (I can not remember their usernames, because I suck and I seem to have problems with name recollection) but these parents have been an inspiration to me in ways above and beyond how I can describe in words. Their determination to love and cherish and understand their (often incomprehensible to them) children for who they are, is a purely selfless act that goes unnoticed, and often unrewarded.

On that note, although I have not had direct contact with her, I would like to nominate Smelena for her wholehearted and dedicated love and support of her children.

Crap! 14 pages and not one single mention. What's worse is that I don't even have any cleavage to show. :(

Ah well, such is the bread of an every day life. I ain't even mad at anyone, I found it amusing enough just to read some of the comical comments in this thread.

Cheers

pssst: If someone wants, they can nominate me for having the most beautiful bald head. 8O

I'll second the nomination of DW_a_Mom for all her wonderful advice on the parents forum, and for her great patience and tact!

And...of course, KazigluBey for the most beautiful bald head, which I'd love to draw on for some reason!
