The other day I was doing some research on a character I created for a novel and came across AS. It all become clear to me and now I think I might be an Aspie girl. Still need to talk to my GP and maybe have a test done - if they do stuff like this in the UK. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Following on from the tread, you might be an Aspie (girl) ...

- if school bored you senseless
- if you've never been shopping with girlfriends
- if you keep people at arm's length
- if you hate hugs and kisses as a welcome gesture
- if you remember phone numbers by the patterns they make on the keyboard
- if you love gadgets
- if you got to Farmville level 20 within a couple of days
- if grammatical errors like you're/your or it's/its drive you crazy
- if you point out typos to strangers eg at the local chippie
- if people don't understand your weird sense of humour
- if casual or ultra-casual is the only way to dress
- if you prefer male company
- if, during an argument, you tell the other person that they are not logical
- if your computer's hard drive is in perfect order but you see no reason for making your bed every day
- if you like chatting to people on the net but when they call you a "lovely lady" you freak out

Just a few I can think of from the top of my head.

Due to repeatedly switching between a Netbook keyboard, a 10 year old clunky keyboard, a touchscreen keyboard and an rf mini keyboard, all with different quirks my mistake count is going to be high. I'm no longer comfy typing.

. . . you're glad that you got a bad sunburn, because now you have an excuse to ask people not to touch you.

...you scrutinize peoples bathtub and main floor tiles to see if they are all exactly the same, or proper stone tile where they'd all be different

This might have been done before but...

YMBAAI You count your time at the check out counter as social interaction.

I am sure that it has all been covered....

But I am sure that some one can send me a link to an enumerated list.

YMBAAI You go to a party and spend your time checking out the books on the bookshelf rather than talking to the other kids.

(OR you are the only one NOT making out with some one OR you make out in the wrong places and don't care. Social pressure - what is that? I some how have managed to do all of these things in my life.)

<blush>some touching is nice</blush>

You Might Be An Aspie If - The total value of the computers in your home far exceeds the total value of your clothing.

Nearly every stray cat will let itself be petted by you, but flees from everyone else.
Your MP3 player for the car is stocked almost exclusively with film and game scores.
You feel no shame while blasting the "Star Wars" theme with the windows down.
You finally retired your D&D character because there was nothing left to challenge him/her.
If you thought, "but what about the Tarrasqe?" in response to the above.

special mention: You may be an Aspie Pagan if:
Your statues of the Gods are in alphabetical order.
You own more rough crystals than the local occult shop.
You know more than the staff at said shop.
Half of your library is written by you, the other half consists of "corrected" Occult books.
You have a specific Tarot Deck for almost every situation.
Your Idol is Raistlin Majere.

That is SO me. In the bathroom at work, instead of tiled walls we have press-board wall coverings, made to look like tiles. I noticed that the tiles had a few alternating indentations made to look like it was random when in fact it was repetitious.

I pointed this out to a Co-Worker...

I thought that I just spent too much time in the bathroom.

Boy was I wrong.

You might be an aspie if you refuse to wear a shirt because you don't "trust it".

Just wondering if anyone else had this reaction.

Oh do PM me please!!
