They want a precise amount of drama. Plenty of it- to get ratings; not so much that the producers get sued.

Yes. :)

Well, they'd say that they're just looking for a certain "look".

Thankfully, our Heather is just naturally inclined toward the build she has and doesn't suffer from any of those things.

I did provide an example of her mental fitness in terms of using critiques to better her job performance as opposed to what 3 other girls in the competition did; whereas you elaborated on what you mean by excellent mental health not at all in your OP, and in your last one only pointed out that comorbid conditions, not Asperger's itself, contraindicate "excellent mental health" if they are present, without giving an example or your definition of the same.

Comorbid condition(s) are present in the case of Heather. ADHD is one of them. I'm not sure what other comorbid conditions she has besides ADHD, if any, but in last week's episode Tyra Banks told Heather that "We know that you have Asperger's, and we know that there is ADHD, and there is other things" and one can only wonder what "other things" Tyra was referring to.

Anyway, especially seeing as the game itself does not define the term, can we just agree to disagree?

(edited to fix quote brackets)

Let's agree on this: we both want Heather to win the competition :)

Okay, so the doctor asks the girl some questions about her mental health, and he signs. I'm familiar with that sort of exam. Anybody who wants to pass and isn't totally out of touch with reality can do so with ease. I'd imagine that a doctor trying to evaluate a patient's mental health would look for subtler things than glaring red flags in a patient's answers. In the case of Heather, it's obvious that she has "something," and so it is, I think, somewhat unlikely that a doctor evaluating her mental health wouldn't want to grill her a lot further than if she were a seemingly "normal" patient. But I think you are right about the meaninglessness of the "excellent mental health" line; in this context, the main meaning of that line probably is "you must be mentally stable enough to not freak out and ruin the competition."

Changing the topic a little bit, can someone help me understand the reactions of these four contestants right after Tyra announced that Heather was still in the running towards becoming America's Next Top Model?

Image

I'm not sure what their reactions mean. I think they indicate surprise and/or concern.

Or they are not looking forward to spending another week with her.
That is actually kind of a funny picture. So exaggerated.

I have seen those faces on my co workers when I got the promotion and they didn't.

well. . .I am NO expert on body language or facial expressions, but it looks like they thought they had run her out, but she is still there, and now they have to go through the inconvenience of HARASSING her for another whole week.

Serves them right. I hope they choke on it, too.

Can you guys describe for me what happened last week? I missed the episode. Why was Lisa booted out? I really didn't see it coming. What suggestions for improvement was Heather given when she was spared?

Heather couldn't deliver her lines even when they were fed to her. She was so over thinking it, my heart went out to her because I have been there. Its her old bugaboo, stage fright.

Lisa was in the final two the week before and they just didn't think she is progressing.

Merle

I forgot, this is where Bianca says " that was so funny!" when she wound up Heather. Heather said " I wish I could get the joke" and Bianca says "YOU'RE the joke!".

oh, yeah, and in the challenge she ROCKS the martial arts hanging from CRANES. Bianca refuses to do the challenge while Heather trys to help her get into it.

You know, they really liked Lisa, she was 'one of them'.

well. . .I am NO expert on body language or facial expressions, but it looks like they thought they had run her out, but she is still there, and now they have to go through the inconvenience of being around her for another whole week.
