... you can extoll the virtues of the supremely-well-adapted native flora to someone who is complaining about how damn hot and ugly it is around here....

Most NTs I know seem to do these naturally, but I can't do these naturally. It's not that I don't want to look clean and nice - it's just that my brain seems to be focused on other things.

you are an aspie
when you cant follow simple instructions like switching of light or fan but can understand complex mathematical problems
when simple change in class routin cause to make your day exhausting
when you seem like some dumb person but in your mind you think like 24/7 about topics other than normal chit chat
when you can spend whole day in your head without having no chitchat with people around you

Well, it's what most NTs do - they're always checking their face in the mirror, to see if there is any sleep in their eyes, or any food around their mouth, or anything like that. I have gone out before with chocolate around my mouth, and when I found out I felt embarrassed that I was going around like that.

YMBAAI:

You look at a Folgers coffee can, and immediately want to throw it into the air and watch it spin. An internal voice yells no you idiot, you’re going to make a mess, the top will pop off.

Then you wonder, how fast do i have to spin the coffee can in the air before the centrifugal force on the ground coffee will pop the top off the can. Start considering how to test the retention force of a coffee can lid, how fast do i normally spin things when i throw them in the air, how reliable will this all be...

until you realize your study break is over and you have to get back to work.

PS
you have to spin the can very fast

If people look at you funny because of the way you dress but you don't really care because you have many people to laugh at who think they turn into Brad Pitt when they put on their $40 jeans and gold necklace.

Yeah you look good. But you're no smarter, and chances are-your personality hasn't changed either.

...if you don't understand why someone has a nice car-only to park it on the driveway because they can't afford to drive it.

...If people say 'you don't make sense' even if you have explained something in the simplest way you can.

Well I am not officially diagnosed as an Aspie so for now I have to assume I may be an NT. I can say though, that I have not checked my face for, ohhh, about a week or more now lol. I am sure my face is still there, I don't need to keep checking on it.

Most women I have met check their face for reasons of vanity or to see if they have a spot lol.

....you always had to sit on your own on the school coach on the way to and from school trips, obviously because everyone else had ''someone better'' to sit next to than you. :(

A aspie menage a trois, feel free to join in than again better not it could get a bit messy and icky.

Melbi says:

Hmmm...who should I drag along with me.... any volunteers? her :D than her

To which I respond :

Well you have every right to be cynical. Tek Tek on one thread says (can't recall which one) "no intentions" in regards to a Meet up , autistic code . Did he coin that quote or has it been around for a while .

At the risk of repeating myself if theirs no intention whats the point of turning up meh something to do I suppose. :)

To which syzgish responds

Yes...

something else he said was "Beware of meeting up and assuming "Best friends Forever"
I am SO Guilty of that!
My one meeting with Adam, all I can say is that he seemed preoccupied and self conscious ... but that's our natural state... I don't think he could find the disconnect
between loving himself for what he is and forgiving himself for being who he is
Best Friends Forever, TekTek!
Live long and prosper

That doesn't sound like a solid bedrock to a stable and long term relationship does it now ? no intentions, beware BFF , something to do. :?

You might be an Aspie you cut school to spend the day at the library and read all day (I did this back when I was in high school just a few short years before the unlimited "library" of the internet became a part of my life)
