Quite simply, this is turning into a dredge-fest. There was no "proposed censure" but a reminder that hostility is not acceptable here. Expressing one's views is entirely different than stereotyping entire groups or making sweeping and hostile statements... although this seems to be a trait more absent in society than present - perhaps the result of an education system designed to train instead of instill the ability to think.

Do you have problems understanding humour Mak, because its common in Aspies and I wonder if thats a factor in your opinions.

I think Mak's concern may come from the people here who don't understand humor - and before anyone gets in a knot here, that's not an Aspie thing; there's just a certain subset of humanity, both AS and NT, who lack any trace of a sense of humor.

For instance, there are some people who see Mak's gentle reminders in here, and post great huge screeds elsewhere about how WP is suppressing all dissent, sometimes in other threads on this very website - and don't seem to find the cognitive dissonance hilarious.

I don't think that's helpful.
