Old jewellery is one of my special interests. I rarely wear/buy new stuff. I have a few things from a great-aunt who knew I was the only one in the family that wouldn't sell them. They give me a sense of identity.

When looking at or touching a piece of old jewellery I love to think of its history and the people who wore it.

Hehehe, after just having bought 3 pair of earrings on eBay only a few moments ago, I have to say that, yes, I wear jewelry. Although I tend to keep it sparse and simple. I enjoy earrings, even the dangly ones,
I have no qualms or guilt about being "shallow" in wearing something which I enjoy wearing and makes me feel good to wear. I don't consider it shallow at all.

Yes I like to wear something with a closer fit too because I wear my pearl bracelet all of the time and if I have to chop ingredients for a recipe a dangly can get in the way lol

My expression of myself with jewellery and make up etc is about being more the real me which I suppose is less shallow because before I was in denial of my more feminine side.

I love jewellery for its own sake :D

I'm currently wearing blue ear studs, two neck chains and a celtic spiral necklace.

Wearing jewelry would make me feel weird. I never do it.

I love wearing jewellery, I have many pieces of costume jewellery and a few pieces that are the real thing. Plus some crystal bracelets.

I have an 100 year old ring with small diamonds in it- it belonged to a lady my grandmother knew when she worked at a nursing home.

Same here, I was in feminine denial as well. :)

I have a chain, but I can't wear it for it's too bothersome against my skin. The same with my watch and glasses.

Sensory problems.

I don't know why I should feel stupid for wearing something I'd like; who cares what others* think?

*Evidently, many people (those poor, poor people).

I wouldn't feel stupid (and I don't think that people who do wear jewellery are stupid), but I just find it uncomfortable. I don't even have my ears pierced.

The only accessory I wear is a watch, which is just a practical digital one. I think it may actually be sold as a man's watch (am female).
