I have thought of a story, it be about the majority being aspie so they are the norm but this one kid is NT and is impairs him because he is different and he can't follow anyones standards so he gets diagnosed with Neurotypical syndrome.

Sweet! Please send that my way when it's finished, I would very much love to read it.

What happens to him? Does he get treatment for being NT?

I don't know yet. I have thought about he gets picked on by other kids because he is different and he doesn't fit in. He can't follow their standards because he expects more from them. I haven't decided yet if there be such thing as pretend play and all. This be more like a joke making fun of normality and everyone has every single symptom lets say. No tags in clothes, no tight clothing, no fluorescent lighting, everyone wears sun glasses but for some reason the light doesn't bother him, everyone has a fixation and focuses on it while the kid doesn't have that and doesn't understand it and he has poor hearing because everyone else has above normal hearing lol. No one reads body language or does eye contact but the kid expect all that and expects people to read him so it in the the NT criteria that they fail to tell people their feelings and beleive people can read their minds and believe they are being uncared for. Also everyone is honest and not afraid to hurt feelings and everyone gets hurt and then moves on but this kid lies because he doesn't want to hurt anyone so he expects to be lied to. He is considered insensitive to pain and sounds and all. He be seen as broken to society.

What's funny is they say we have troubles fitting in and developing appropriate friendships but in this world, it be the NT who have that difficulty because he is in the minority. Everyone is just too weird for him.

I wonder what would change about the entertainment industry. Music would have less pop and more artistic music like progressive rock. We would destroy most reality tv shows and make more documentaries. We would still have sci fi shows and movies. The paparazi would go out of business because nobody would care about what actors do in their own time. Sport stadiums would be mostly empty, so we would make new events like massive robot wars. Video games would be more popular, even with girls. :)

Nonsense ! !! It would be filled with lively discussions as every one has pointed out. I think fashion would be gone, and everyone would wear what they liked, or better yet, what their obsessions were. Ladies who love Alice in Wonderland could dress like her every day, and cyber guys could go about in shiny foil suits.

There would be such a thing as 'Neuroptypical Disorder'.

Hmm... all this gives me an idea for a book.

I n all honesty if everyone had AS then humanity would be incredably diverse and anyone who was NT (even though in given circumstances they would be neurologically UNtypical) would only be recognised as a little odd. If even that. I doubt anyone would make a big deal out of it.

I am struggling to see how it could be any better or worse than it is now. There would still be nice people, and still a whole lot of jerks. And while such malaises of modern society such as shopping malls and reality tv would hopefully disappear, so would I hope, rampant overpopulation and overconsumption. A more peaceful, pastoral, bucolic world, where technology is ised to solve problems rather than create them. It would be nice.

As long as I can continue with my dream and disappear into the hills.

If "neurotypical" then became a disorder, we would have to give it a new name, because it wouldn't be "typical" anymore.
It wouldn't be called Asperger's Syndrome either, because Hans Asperger wouldn't have to describe the condition, because it was the normal thing. (But if he did describe the "NT" condition instead, that would be AS!)
Or NT would be known as "Exaggerated Socializing Syndrome", "Illogical Syndrome", "Sensory Indifference Syndrome", "Herd Syndrome", or you name it... :P

No. Burning Man is a festival that takes place in the middle of the Black Rock Desert in Arizona every year. The point of the festival is to be as creative and non-conformist as possible while doing little to no harm to the earth. At the end of the festival they burn a a giant man made of wood and pyrotechnics and such. There is no currency or social regulation as long as nobody steals or hurts each other. You can even show up butt-naked if you want. That festival is like another world I wish could last forever. :)

I ask the same, even though i know. BTW, an aspie nation would be highly advanced, filled with hi-tech stuff, massive entertainment, advanced war-machines, and care.
