Lecturer: Are you always this quiet?

Lecturer: (Asked the whole class) Is he always this quiet?
Class: (Silence)
Lecturer: (Looked at me) Can you even talk?
Me: (Confused. Didn't know whether he was joking or serious.)
One of the classmates: Sir you're so mean!
Me: (Oh that was an insult.)
Very, VERY unprofessional.
I've had so many insults thrown at me most just bounce off.
Heres a few that
Didn't affect me because I was just sort of numb and indifferent to bullying as I was so used to it.
"You look like Mr Burns"
"She's a SNU"
"Did you know you're the ugliest girl in the school?"
Teacher: "You're not shy you're just a rude selfish little girl"
Teacher: "You don't like swimming you're not even good at it"
And then there are the ones I got SOOOOO damn often I just got tired of hearing them... but not insulted..
"She doesn't have a tongue"
"OH MY GOD SHE SPOKE"
"god you have skinny legs"
Then theres ones I got when I was older like:
"You're stupid"
"Your voice is disgusting"
"You arent good looking"
And generally just taking the piss out of me so their friends would think they were cool
The only ones that make me burn with anger inside when I look back are this girl telling me when I was 8:
"Did you know your dad is dead?" To try and upset me, which it didn't at the time I just thought "what is this stupid bint talking about?" i hate that girl if someone killed her now days I would celebrate for a week.
When I used to walk home from high school kids would say random horrible s**t to me as I walked past them didn't know them though they were just thugs. And thats really it.
I was more affected by physical bullying and ganging up than words in school. Kids ripping up my work, kids physically assulting me, Kids pushing and shoving me, girls being bitchy and not letting me hang around with them at lunch then they were nice as soon as lunch was over, Kids stomping on my art, kids spitting on me, Kids ignoring me etc
