Alas, they would not let me post a puppetrina video response...

I'm personally not that weird, but I had imaginary friends up until my first therapist as a younger child. I blamed the therapist for killing them all, which he most definitely did. My imaginary friends were varied. One of them was Bio-chemist, another was a nuclear specialist that tested bombs on the bikini isles, another one was a tourist guide, one was a giant sea serpent that killed my enemies in their dreams when they crushed my optimistic veiws on life. Another was a dog that could speak in all human languages. Really, I never needed regular people when I had imaginary friends that fantastic. I remained friends with the sea serpent until grade six though (his name was Samuel). It's a pity he couldn't talk well. He never managed to kill the therapist like I instructed. The therapist was probably a more powerful sea snake that mastered the human language.

Yep, I kinda got that from the things she said -- the vocabulary, and that thing about wanting a job at Cracker Barrell -- but the way that people were reacting to her was like the kind and loving patience people typically display towards a child who is very lively and fascinated with the world. They didn't seem to be "acting" towards her; they were just treating her as a normal member of the group.

I have wondered for some time -- even before I knew I was an aspie myself -- whether Tracey Ullman is neurologically unusual. I haven'thad a TV for years, but in the days when I did watch her in movies or on TV, it seemed as though it was difficult for her to stay out of "character". She had very little own-identity development, it seemed; a lot of confidence, but notnecessarily SELF-confidence.

Well, if you wanted to get really crazy, you could try your hand at ventriloquism. There are stand ups that do this, entertainment/teaching for children, etc. Im sure you have made your "doll self" funny, witty, and perhaps observant to the point of people laughing at themselves. If you get the chance, watch Jeff Dunham, or Terry Fator. This could net you something . . . granted, your doll/puppet will go through some changes, but you could too.

She sometimes goes on stage with me when I perform and says some stuff...but I don't plan on becoming a real ventriloquist or anything..I really don't have the gift of the gab..and don't feel like having to hide the fact that I am moving my mouth..I just hold her in front of me and I never really look at the people she is speaking to anyway...I don't want to change who or what she is..I can't really.it just wouldn't be the same....I am happy enough making puppetrina movies...speaking of which, there are some I should be working on...
