I was angry in the message I sent. I wonder if it was better that it cyberspaced out.
You can probably guess the reason for my anger, and I was not diplomatic, or forgiving, and against the spirit of your thread. It might have spoiled your mood, and the anger was not directed at you.
My response on page 2 of this thread was a more carefully worded version of what I sent.
In addition, you are forgiven, though you have never offended me. We might disagree on ideas, but that is not an offense.
And of course I will owe you an apology 12 months from now. Just in case!!

Ok Sue, we have 12 months to find something to apologize to each other for. But as Sarafina pointed out, one is supposed to apologize a few days before the Day of Atonement to give G-d time to hear our prayer for forgiveness from him on the Day itself. Everyone's talking to Him at the same time that day. So we have 12 months minus a couple weeks. In order to have plenty of time and avoid the last minute rush, how about we hurt each other now, apologize and get over with it?
And maybe in addition to our traditional WP Autscar Night we should have a WP Aspietonement Day here? We could all apologize and get a clean slate for another full year of unfortunately offensive posts? We could even make it a sticky, so new members could find it easily when needing to apologize during the year...

I like the term Aspietonement. Should the Almighty be an almighty, there will no doubt be autistic traits, and should be familiar to G-d.

Unless you're dangling on a rope and hanging on with your teeth, there's never a bad time to apologize. You lose nothing and may gain something in return. Much better odds than Vegas
This Yom Kippur holiday seems like a nice idea, especially for us since we often inadvertantly offend due to the AS and socialization issues.
Hmmm, I sometimes eat Kippured Beef. Does this mean the cow forgives me for eating it? Or that I am more prone to forgive others after consumption. This requires further study.
