I'm not competitive. I always felt inferior to others because i've always got less than others . So currently i just try to get better and better in things where i'm more interested (writing and drawing).
I want to do comics, but i suck at that :(

It may not neccesarily be competitive through direct means just simply a different force that drives someone and the achievement criteria are not neccesarily based on social apparatus but on mabe more solitary goals or ideals.

Just a thought

As a rule, no I am not competitive. I will allow others to savor the victory, especially if I notice it is important to them. I'm content existing without conflict or confrontation. I don't feel an urge to prove anything, not even to myself.

The exception is under the following conditions; The arena is intellectual in nature. I feel the conflict is worthwhile in honing some skill, or subset of skills. The potential competitor has incurred my wrath(Which isn't easy). Under those conditions, I will compete, and when I do...well, I win. And I've been known to be unrelenting and even called vicious at these rare moments. I made a guy cry once with some quick string of spontaneous words. I laughed and felt bad simultaneously.

tldr; So, yes and no, I guess. Not normally, but when I do feel competitive, it's way too strong.

Well I am not very competative......but that's probably more because I am just a really laid back person not because I have AS.

Since I can't answer the question directly as I do not know if I have AS yet until the 23th, I will answer with the probability. I'm very competitive. I can't stand people knowing more then me. In FPS games I must be the best, which usually happens :P.

I used to have a meltdown if my team didn't win a game.

Do you think Tom could get unbanned if he wrote to Alex?

Does Alex ever 'unban' people?

Not in my case.

There are times I just can't accept a loss ... especially in sports.

I can feel the drive to compete, and I can be competitive. I participated in math and physics competitions, with remarkable results when I was 15. I always hated when my parents made comparisons between me and one of my classmates who had better grades.

I thought I was lazy, therefore I lacked the ability to really compete with other people intellectually. Now I'm not sure if it was only laziness. This was the time when I slowly started to suspect there is a problem with my memory, since almost all people with intelligence similar to mine seemed to better me in this respect.

In sports, I like a little a competition, especially when it happens spontaneously. I hated competing in sports that required skillfulness (tennis, table-tennis), I could be very upset when I was beaten. I can laugh at it now.

Sometimes I participate in real sport competitions. In mountain biking I would choose the longest track, where the number of the competitors is small and they are not as excited as on the shorter tracks. Road bike racing is not for the lonely wolves like me, also they are too stressing. In these competitions I don't go for the winning, I only want to achieve a fair ranking or time, or just to cross the finish line... I hate too much excitement.

i couldn't give a s**t. I don't need a competition to prove myself. Lose, win - it's just a show-off. I know what I am good at, and I have no reason to prove it to anyone.

Quite the contrary. I wouldn't participate in sports because I couldn't stand not losing but when I got into something I was a fierce competitor. Beat me in Mario Kart and you can say goodbye to those hands.

Actually when it comes to my interests, like photography, I had to be the best and instead of befriending other photographers I saw them as rivals. Although sometimes we were friends but if they got a photo op and it was the one I wanted - I WOULD DESTROY THEM!

Mother did warn me that I wouldn't have much friends if I stayed this way. Mother was right.

I don't like sports at all, but I am extremely competitive when it comes to academia. I have this intense drive to be the best in the class. Usually it works to my advantage, except when I'm not ahead and I get flustered and fall behind.

I'm competitive at work I guess, too. Again, its that drive to be the best. In my years of playing team sports at school and church, I never felt it, however. The only thing I was thinking about during a game is when it would be over.

For as long as I can remember, I've had this problem of feeling that I need to be the best in order to have any sense of self-worth at all. The main problem with this is that I'm not capable of being the best, and so trivial losses or minor mistakes can lead to complete despair. As a result, I'm only really willing to engage in competition when I feel confident in my ability to defeat the other person. Otherwise, there's just too much at risk.
