I do them simply because it's part of my routine, and I like my routine.

I can do them if I have help... but on my own I'm at a loss most of the time. I'll see a million things that need to be done, then pace in circles trying to figure out where I need to start and quickly become overwhelmed, so I stop.

With help, though, I can have someone assign jobs to me, lol, and it's MUCH easier than figuring it out on my own. When left to my own devices, it can take weeks sometimes for me to do a simple housecleaning.

The other problem I have is interests interfere big time with things that need to be done in every day life. It's like cleaning just never makes it to the top of my priority list until things are so chaotic that they absolutely have to be done... and that can take a while to get to that point for me. I know it would be easier if I just did everything every night-started a routine... but it would be 10 times easier than that if I got rid of all of my personal belongings that keep me interested, because as long as those are around, there is always interference.

They don't interest me in any way whatsover. Perhaps you can call me lazy, but I barely do house chores myself. :?

I don't like doing any cleaning up, washing up...

The only chore that i seem to weirdly find fansinating is hoovering because of the way it sucks up dirt from the floor and how much dirt the thing collects... The looks of the dirt going round the hoover, its fasinating.... I could watch it spin all day...

I would literally moan at any chore that i would have to do. I normally even make mess in the room which makes my brother moan

That's what the FLYlady is for! Our house is almost starting to look like someplace civilized human beings might inhabit! Kinda scary..

I've seen you mention FLYlady several times, is it really that helpful? I am going to have to get on board, because if I can come up with some routine and just do even a few things a day, that would help out a ton. Do they just tell you what to do on each day and you just do it?
