I did better than I thought I would. However, as I continued with the test, I got more frustrated and had to take more time with the expressions and the words. When I'm on my own, I do better at these kinds of things, but throw me into a real life situation right then and there, and there's so much going on it's more difficult. I'm pretty sure if they just flashed the eyes and then the words and had you figure it out right then and there, like things tend and can be with actual facial expressions, the scores would be a lot lower for plenty of us.

They all looked bored to me... I wanted none of the above for every answer, I got 15, and I was just guessing for most of them.

Funny enough, my score was quite high - 33.
Photos and paintings are not a problem at all - in my History of Art classes I often had to interpret and analyze facial expressions of people in portraits etc. But it's not the same with real people, it's a challenge for me to communicate with them and make out what they mean and actually want (well, usually I fail at this). Their faces remain the same to me with almost any facial expression, unless it's something reeeeally extreme. I just seem not to notice what's going on with their faces. Besides, sometimes it's hard even to look them in the face, so what kind of mind reading are we talking about...

I was unable to complete this test. I know that I'm poor at reading facial expressions, but trying to figure out eyes was impossible for me.
