You all got trolled! Hahahaha! Do any of you notice that the OP hasn't replied to anything that was said in this topic? Nope, I bet he's just sitting there and laughing at you all because you fell for the flamebait! How do you all feel about yourselves?

I am Certainly not laughing my heart out,I could not post earlier because I was not in the City.
after reading some of hostile responses it's clear most of aspies dont feel good about themselves.that's fine with me .
I had posted my earlier post not to provoke other aspies but to make them aware that perhaps we have an important part in evolution but this comes at a price. Social ineptness is the price we pay.I guess if we had a choice most of us would have prefered to have been NTs.
I had started the topic because I felt it is always better being comfortable in our own skin then wishing to have been somebody else.

You don't have to believe you're superior in order to feel good about yourself, though. If anything, feeling comfortable in your own skin should stem from accepting that you are what you are without needing to compare yourself to others.

That said, I suspect the majority do feel that the different wiring in their brains gives a few advantages over the people around them, and take some comfort in that, as you suggest. I'll admit that I do - I just know better than to let it go to my head, which could lead to an unhealthy way of looking at the world.

Well considering that even if that was a troll there have been no "flame" responses of like you'd expect on another forum, like World of Warcraft forums for example. Most responses are structured and have points, don't directly name call but present an argument against the OP's point of view. :D

It's not that I don't feel good about myself, I just don't think being aspie makes us have those qualities you listed, it has to do with our personality. There are aspies who do act the opposite of what you listed but then there are "NTs" who also have those qualities you listed.

I like who I am but there are things about me I don't like but hey doesn't everyone have things about themselves they don't like? So why be upset about my AS?
