How can I make you hot? You are not wearing the sweater. I am.

I'm the same way but inverse your situation

Being designed for tropical climates, I get cold very easily. I maintain that a big part of the attraction to my husband(we got married in college) is that he was a giant portable heater!

I do tend to wear short-sleeved shirts because I spend most of my time indoors and a long-sleeved shirt would be too warm. With a jacket over it I manage just fine when actually outside.

I do have to request lowering the heat often. But I probably get as cold as other people outside, I just complain about it less. Inside, I can do with a li'l colder than most. "colder" being "less warm", really.

I have to admit that this really annoyed me the other day. I was walking around an outdoor mall in my sandals that I wear year-round. They were starting to wear out. It's snowing heavily outside. I see a shoe store and think, "Huh, you know... these sandals are getting worn out. I should buy some new ones," but nowhere in the store are they selling sandals. So now I am stuck with sandals that are falling apart until the stores decide to start selling them again.

I currently face this exact same problem. I'm currently stuck with only one pair of sandals for work. Outside of work, I'm always barefoot. I love the texture of the carpet, and even some other floors, including the cement outside, and shoes in general both me. I haven't worn a pair of tennis shoes or jeans since I graduated from high schoo. I've also always had trouble with shoe laces. I didn't learn to tie them until I was in the fourth grade. And I've always struggled.

Today I got a birthday present from some coworkers, they gave me a black shirt with long sleeves. At work, the dress code is black, and I wear a short black shirt all year. During this last week I have worn a long sleeve shirt underneath my short sleeve shirt. I'm comfortable that way. And I have worn what used to be my only long sleeve black shirt, it also was a gift, from my sister. When temperatures get cold I wear those, but only when it is freezing or below.

Like someone said, why is someone else uncomfortable if they see me dressed "inappropriately"? Why do they feel like they have to do something about it?

If I told someone that I was uncomfortable because their outfit didn't flatter their figure, or it made them look fat, and I gave them a shirt that would make them look better they would be offended.

I wish that could be my special ability when summer comes... Then that would make a complete superboyian.

The obvious questions unfortunelately a habbit in the world of today and technically a single person can't help it... I don't though, but I can't seem to stop asking humourous questions in real life.

Wow your personality somehow and weirdly matches with my girlfriend in many ways... She puts on her jumper no matter what and even brings a coat outside in the hot weather.... But me.... Na ah... I probably don't even need a t-shirt for the summer, that's if I actually had a nice chest instead of nothing but slight ribs. :eew:

Superboyian.

I hardly ever feel the cold, and wear the same kind of clothes year round.
I often get people asking me to put a coat on, and I usually reply with "I don't wear coats, I'm not cold."
But it doesn't bother me that much because I know that if other people were wearing a light t shirt in below-freezing weather they would get ill, so people tell me to dress more warmly because they don't want me to get ill - even though i never get ill from staying out in the cold.

Now that's just something I've never understood. The only thing you can get sick from the cold is something like hypothermia. You can't catch a cold from the cold. You catch a cold from coming in contact with people who have the cold.

Actually, exposure to cold temps can make it easier to be infected by cold and flu viruses and other respiratory germs because of how very cold dry air affects your nasal passages.

Right. It makes you more susceptable to contract a disease but is not the actual cause of the disease itself. You have to be exposed to the virus or bacteria responsible for the infection.

Oh how I love the cold!

Heat makes me want to just roll over and suffer. I swear people that live in places like Florida, Cali and Texas are insane. Why would you like a place that get's over 100 consistently ><
Especially when you can't even walk around naked, not that it does much considering anything over your normal body temp even naked will make you hot. Especially if you're active.

Cold though... mmmmm I love the cold. Snow too. And the fact I'm currently stuck in Florida has me hating things more than usual. Then again, my normal body temperature last time it was taken (2 weeks ago) was 96.7, so that probably helps.

I'm 100% with you on that anyone wanting to live in such a place is quite insane. I don't know what other people find so attractive about this place. Spring is barely here when it starts to get into the three digits. And there's a new record each and every year, mostly.
