I had speech therapy for many years as I had trouble with the "S" sound, but I wasn't diagnosed with Asperger's until I was in my late 20's. Being pulled out of class in elementary school was one of the reasons why I was bullied. The other reason was that I had to wear glasses until I was 12 in an attempt to fix my lazy left eye. The speech therapy in school only stopped when the therapist told my parents that I no longer needed it when I was in high school.

It seemed to have fixed much of my pronoun "problems" (I still resort to third person and exchange "I" for "me" if I don't care how I appear in regards to verbal ability. Exchanging "us" and "we" completely vanished), my lazy tongue (from lack of use...), in addition to my poor speech. I had it when I first started talking at 4-1/2 years old, and it only went on till I was 5 (I guess little Daniel learnt quickly, but it was different with reading and writing a couple of years later).
