Which one is the aspie?

I love this thread & let me tell you why. It classically illustrates the problems someone w/AS may have in a work or social setting. Text book example, in fact.
If you want to take "Do it now" literally where does it stop? If the guy working on the computer does not stop what he's doing and get out of the way immediately (because the boss did tell the guy to take out the trash now) does the trash collector guy raise his voice? Shove his way in past the other guy?
Let's say the guy at the desk won't budge? What should the trash collector do? Punch him? Knock him to the floor to get to the trash can? Again, after all, the boss did tell him to empty the trash now..
See what I mean? A person needs to be able to use a little common sense and be able to work with thier co-workers, otherwise they'll always end up having problems at work.

I wouldn't get that rude. I would have just told him it takes no more than a few seconds to hand me the trash or tell him he can move aside or complain to my boss someone wouldn't let me do my fricken job. I've complained about my co workers before because they wouldn't cooperate.
But ah, there's the catch. Most people, the boss included, would probably view you as the one being rude and hard to work with because obviously, complicated work on a computer is more important than taking out the trash at that moment. And insisting that it be done right now, especially when the guy at the desk asked nicely if he could wait a few moments is not being very considerate. Rude, you could say.
If you run to the boss and complain that "Larry won't get out of the way so I can get to his trash can." & the boss goes over to Larry & finds out that he was right in the middle of something complicated & he asked you nicely to wait a few moments, trust me, your boss is going to think you're a dick.
Again. I like this thread because it is such a great example of the difficulties aspies may have in social and work settings.
Both of them but the guy who is throwing away the trash can seem to show it more.... The guy who is however downloading is waiting for the download to finish but then most people tend to do it anyways but its normally a little unusual for the person to sit through the whole process of downloading.
The guy with the trash can seems to show it more by repeating. "My boss told me to empty the trash".
That's just my opinion.

Yeah I think I get it now. This had popped in my head. Lets say I had a job and I drove to work. One day I get a phone call from my boss asking me if I can come to work because someone had called in sick. I say sure and he says he needs me to come in now. What am I going to do? I am going to get ready of course, put on my uniform, brush my teeth and hair, and head out. I am going to follow the traffic rules and wait at the stop lights when the lights are red. I am not going to be driving like a maniac cutting people off and running red lights just because the boss said he needed me now.
So the catch is, when the boss told his employer to get the garbage, he expected him to treat his co workers like traffic. So when the downloader told him to wait, he was the red light.
Okay no wonder Hale Bop said he had some cognitive impairment and no wonder an aspie said at another forum he was LFA and the downloader was the aspie. I can see why some aspies are saying the trash collected was more aspie than the computer guy.
