To answer a question like this, one needs to try and imagine how things might have been had they been different, which isn't all that easy. Especially when one's an aspie...

I might have been a dumb kid in school, I might not have left university and home when I was sixteen, I might have had a life and a career...

I don't think the question's precise enough - should the conjecture be that only the autism be missing, and everything else be the same? No, that wouldn't work - my dad's as aspie as I am, only - being eighty-two - he doesn't want to know about it.
