If you could escape your current society where would you go?
I am thinking:
Greenland
Iceland
Sweden/Norway
New Zealand
Finland
some Northern Canadian territory/Alaska
Most of those countries/territory just exude a cold and distant but strikingly organic sense of environment, and seem to be far away from the culture of America. American culture/society just does not seem to be for me. I still feel like a foreigner in my own country, I would rather have that feeling in a REAL foreign country maybe where I have to learn a new language so I can start off on a level ground.
where would you go?
Are you biased against warm, steamy places? What is wrong with a place where you have heave to wear a heavy coat?

Im not sure really. I guess most american climates are just straight up boring. South American and Carribean climates seem too tropical and humid. Would be great for a few months, but I couldnt see staying there any longer.
What the northern colder climate countries have, is peace and quiet. I cant really explain it more than that, but there is more to it.
