Ideas. Pictures mostly. Depends on what it is I'm thinking about though. Mostly visualization though. translating it to words is a hefty task for me, and usually ends up in really long posts or other writing.

I think I'm like that. I get images, and then I translate them to verbals. But if I'm actively thinking I tend to do it verbally. It's like I'm writing things down in my mind.

I think in concepts. The concept is like a vague resemblance to an image, but it doesn't have details, rarely colors, real movement and certainly not things like smell. To the concept a certain amount of "false" emotion is attached, thought emotion. Often my thoughts are about alternative happenings or future ones.

I think in words when I picture myself actually talking to someone. Which I do a lot. Or picture myself writing (not so much these days) or even talking to God (That I don't really believe in). Also I think in words when I try to really grasp something and learn a new thing . I also do some amount of self talk.

When you think in words, do you ever feel letters?

(One more thing I took for granted everyone does, I know an old friend didn't and I thought because she was dyslexic...)

For example.. if you know someone named Jaimie, does that name feel the same to you as someone named Jamie (Same pronounciation). For me, those names feel different.

Please tell me all people think like me!! LOL.

If I'm remembering something from the day or in the past, I usually think in images/pictures/videos but I also spend time thinking like I'm having a conversation with myself or writing in a journal about things

I know what you mean. Of course they have a different feel cuz they are spelled differently! The name Jaime has a French feel. Jamie sounds like a cute, young American boy.

Example:

Give me written, step-by-step instructions on how to put together a piece of furniture and I'm pretty much lost. Give me pictures or drawings of the steps and I have it with no problem.
