People here really need to get over this thing about NTs being stupid/selfish etc and aspies being saints
Very true, but when I've been reading through this Autism forum it sounded like NTs are saints, and Aspies are the ones who find everything in the world difficult and are the complete opposite to NTs in every single way.
It's like Aspies think NTs don't do this, this and this, and if they do then they're not NTs. Or the other way round - Aspies seem to think that Aspies always act in this certain way, and that if they don't act in this certain way then they don't have AS.
This is why I made this topic - so I can tell you that NTs can behave in this certain way and that certain way too, and can come across as socially awkward at times, and they are all individuals who prefer to eat this rather than that, wear this rather than that, and like him rather than her.
And yes, I do have fixed obsessions which NTs don't - but then again NTs
do get obsessions but know when to stop talking/thinking/persueing it. So we're the same s NTs, but in another way we are different - but what I mean here can only be explained in an intelligent way, because I'm just no good at explaining myself.
Due to my bad vocabulary, I only stick to basic words because my IQ is around about 75 or something (I don't fully understand how IQ results work), so that's why the title of this topic sounds a bit thick.
