I can remember two scores. 41 and 39. I tried it more then once as I did not realize it was the same test until I was part of the way through. I did however take a different stance on the test on these two occasions. When I had 41, I was answering truthfully but my answers were on the side of trying to be on the spectrum. When I had 39, I was still truthful, but answering as if I did not want to be on the spectrum if that makes sense? I wanted to know if there would be a large difference in the results if I kept the answers as truthful as I could and yet lean on the two different stances, as one can appreciate, one can answer differently compared to what mood one is in, and yet one can still be telling the truth of how one feels. As the tests were both taken with a couple of months inbetween them, even though I remembered the tests when I had just started them, I did not remember the answers I had put.

It definitely sounds as if you may have Asperger's Syndrome. A large number of people with Asperger's Syndrome & higher forms of autism don't even know they have it because it doesn't impair their lives in any way. You seem to have inherited all of the good from it & none of the bad. That's definitely a good thing.

If it doesn't impair their lives in anyway, they must be living in Aspie-land, not the NT world I live in . And if it didn't impair their schooling, were they home schooled, had private tutors?

I suppose someone who is truly introverted and living an academic life may not be able see it as an impairment.

My scores represent an effort to avoid confirmation bias also. I tried to think like an NT . I wonder if I would score higher now since I understand my behavioral traits better.

Since Autism is often genetic based a person might think their atypical autistic behaviors are typical because their family members exhibited the same traits.

I can fully understand this and it is why I have said that if I am on the spectrum my Mother is as well, and possibly others are as well.
