I used to when I was younger. In my early 20s I started getting really cagey because I discovered just how judgmental and pushy people can be. Only a couple of people in my life get me truly uncensored.

Unsolicited advice really bothers and confuses me, so I stopped sharing things that could bring it about.

Yes! It's really embarrassing once you realise you've made them uncomfortable, too. :( I don't understand the harm in being honest, if the conversation seemed to be going in a direction... if someone asks me a question, I answer it so if they go in a direction that makes me give information that other people consider "too much", it isn't my fault. If people are so worried or awkward about hearing certain things about new acquaintances, they shouldn't talk at all. It's just too confusing. D:
I've tried to stop caring. I've been working on not talking too LONG about one thing, but if I say something and later I find out the person or people thought I was being too forward, I'll just let them know that I have no reason to hide things about myself and if it bothers them, they shouldn't ask me questions.
