$4500 is INSANELY EXPENSIVE!! ! I'd be cautious that they're trying to rip you off.

I got an Adult AS Diagnosis in Melbourne from Janine Manjiviona, and it costed $AU 765 if I recall correctly...

And I just looked up your income tax rates

 It's the same thing in Denmark.

And Denmark is ranked as the happiest country in the world.

Strange that.

I think Norway is ranked 'happiest'.

My diagnosis cost two grand, but it was covered by my insurance. I don't know what I would have done if it had not been covered. Stayed under the false guise of Bipolar, I guess D=

Keep looking around for a place, or call your insurance company (if you have insurance, that is) and see if they cover or recommend anyone. That's how I found my absolutely excellent doctor in Colorado. And I do actually get to see the doctor each time, not just a case worker of some sort.

They are pretty high, but it's better then paying wads of money as a individual. It keeps health care affordable over time and everyone can benifit from the services and thus reducing future costs. You have income scales, you pay more if you earn more.

Similiar Health Care system is being implemented in the USA atm.

Which is why I love Canada.
