In justice to neuro-diversity, Neuro-typical syndrome should be a spectrum disorder

In my opinion, the battlelines have been drawn the minute NT's starting diagnosing a condition that isn't fully understood. NTs are playing with fire. Gawd, you have thousands of Aspies free to roam around society and they are capable of civil unrest with their ability to create a meltdown.

I wouldn't be suprised if combined Aspie fury had more power then the 2 atomic bombs that were dropped in 1945!

From a certain point of view, "NT" is already diagnosed since doctors and specialists watch the way children develop their abilities and the mental health of adult, teenagers and children to claim whether they are normal or not. (And since NT usually means "non autistic", then most NTs do not fall into the normal category either, plus do not forget about other autistic people, you focus too much on asperger syndrome here  ).

so if your arm doesn't work right and you don't know what caused it, there should be no diagnosis for that? or schizophrenia because that's not fully understood either. neither are most conditions. sorry but diagnosing someone with something they have is not drawing battle lines. it's simply medicine. people really need to get over thier anger issues at being different. it's not anyone elses fault any more than it is your own and blaming doctors for recognizing the symptoms and then taking it out on all of society is useless. i understand the frustration but the anger is misplaced.
