No, I didn't bother to search the forum.
My "novel ideas" still have not been explained in full detail. How can you possibly judge?
I do believe that, again, you are judging, please stop judging. You don't know me, or my intentions. This conversation is going nowhere.
This argument is going nowhere, and this discussion is very useless.
You're right, you win the ego game.
YOU WIN WAVEFREAK WINS, He's the absolute winner in this topic.
Please demonize me.

[quote="wavefreak58"]Did you bother searching this forum before posting? Did you consider that your 'novel ideas' may actually have already been discussed at length? Do you really think that a site with 40,000+ members, all with a PERSONAL interest in autism would not have members that are actively scouring the internet for the latest research and theories regarding causation?[/quotehttp://www.wrongplanet.net/forums-posting-quote-p-3258129.html]
Thank you for your kindness, your generosity and thank you for welcoming me as a new member to wrong planet. It is very nice to meet you.
Answer one question. It may help communications.
Are you on the spectrum?

(Refrigerators per square mile can be directly correlated to crime rate per square mile. Of course, they can also be correlated to people per square mile...)
Autism has a heritability of something like 85-95%, last I checked; the numbers vary depending on whether you use classic autism only (the lower figures) or the entire spectrum (the higher figures). That was determined through twin/adoption/sibling studies and a lot of math.
The increase is almost certainly accounted for by increased diagnosis. Did you know that the "mental retardation" diagnosis rate has decreased at a very similar rate to the increase of autism, for example? A lot of people are getting re-diagnosed because they get better services with an autism diagnosis, even though they usually qualify for both labels.
The "stealing MR cases" phenomenon, and the Asperger's and PDD-NOS labeling of the milder cases which would otherwise have remained undiagnosed altogether, really accounts for the rise in diagnosis.
Yeah, but the refrigerator is not the same as the freeway that carries tons of machinery a day all emitting fumes of various compositions. A refrigerator isn't even remotely like a freeway and that has to be taken into consideration.
But, what if you had two groups of refrigerators. In group one, the thermostat is set at 40 degrees f. In group two, the thermostats are set at 50 degrees f. Ten degree difference. What if you have two groups of people and none of them knew the differences in temperature. One group is instructed to get sour cream from refrigerators with the 50 degree thermostats, the other gets it from the 40 degree refrigerators. The sour cream has gone from grocery store refrigerator to both groups of refrigerators used in the study and remain ten hours before used for food. Both parties make a dip out of the sour cream and eat it with some tortilla chips. The group who ate the sour cream that had been in the 40 degree refrigerators report no gastrointestinal illness whatsoever and are feeling fine, while the group who ate the sour cream that had been in the refrigerators with thermostats set ten degrees higher later complained of indigestion and stomach aches.
Who can deny there isn't a causal factor in this. The warmer refrigerators were a factor, though maybe not the only one in people getting ill from the sour cream.
It's the same sort of thing with the freeway study, though we aren't talking about an illness, but we are talking about a certain condition facillitated by other conditions. In the case of the gastrointestional illnesses it's the warm refrigerators. In the case of autism, it's the proximity to freeways.

Are you on the spectrum?
i am on spectrum yes i am , i do not know where but we are all on the spectrum, some of us are on the spectrum but have inactive genes everyone has dna from neanderthals however it was once centered in europe now autism has spread globally after a lot of multiplying

you are very on topic
you see freeways are in places of population, places of population have a higher frequency of autism, what we do know is that there are places with higher percentages...compared to other places...a good example is that northern united states has most of the autistic population as to the southern states have less
however, the northern united states holds more of the population than the southern
the article
http://thestir.cafemom.com/baby/114152/ ... s_the_link
they are talking about pollutants and the study is coming from califorina, california has one of the largest amounts of autistics compared to other states...this again is because califorina has a higher population its very simple
http://www.thegreenpapers.com/Census10/ ... tors.phtml
you see the higher concentration of people you have ,the higher chance of autism being prevalent...however the lower concentration of people, the less chances of people in that group are autistic
this is because of population differences, there are no sneaky toxins getting into mothers imitating disorders
what is in the mothers of these autistic children is rhesus negative blood
the blood is neanderthal blood, that is to say the protein is from neanderthals that envelop each blood cells...the focus here is the protein outside of the red blood cells
autism and asd traits are found in almost everyone, however certain people with such genetic disposition might express the phenotype as well
i believe among neanderthals, cro-magnons and the fall of the previous civilization had other humanoid races responsible for other "cultures" as well, our diversity is so profound
if we stop labeling people with disorders and wake up to physiological & neurological diversity it will answer many questions to the cause of these "disorders"
you see i am just trying to understand, research and explain our diversity
it's a lot like registering a sense
you're looking at a picture and its nothing but lines, colors and spots...until someone (who made it) explains what it is...then it registers you're aware, you wake up and see the bigger picture for just the lines, colors and spots it once was
i said all i wanted, i wish i could delete this thread because the above post is where i wanted to get to
this topic isnt really to argue if its environment or genetic....the environment holds the genetics, i will give you that
but toxins, pollutants & all the freeways in the world will not cause autism , i believe
it is genes, its lineage, its dna evolving, its blood variations, its ancestry variations
But that's not always the case, though one would have to watch that in a study. You would need to take places with the same population, only one with a freeway within 1000 feet, and another without. Not all places with high populations have freeways and not all stretches of freeway are located within places with high populations.

we are experiencing multicultural human evolution at a grand scale and this evolution is most of our disorder
if humankind focused less on progression, and more on evolution we will see this
if we do not evolve we will be in a perpetual cycle of "this"
part of our evolution, must, must, be awareness...understand, love & tolerance
our autistics & people "nt" have this ability as like any autistic, we all share the same abilities, to be diverse, to love and evolve...to become aware of both our profound unity & diversity encompassing divinity
it's bigger than freeways
Good point, another reason why the study of freeways and Autism cannot be exactly justified.
Why yes which is why freeways are only one factor. They are one component in a vast sea of many. It's like a tiny droplet of water in an ocean with saline, bacteria, other elements. All of them make up the sea yet they aren't identical and the sea wouldn't be the sea without them...
i can't express anymore how important rhesus negative blood is
most people with direct jewish descent (if you're jewish, try testing yourself) get a blood analysis and ask for the rhesus status, there's a good chance you are RH-
there is a good chance all of our mothers, our as in us autistics, our mothers have autoimmune problems or mild gastrointenstial problems
our mothers had miscarriages, too, even if they had offspring successfully afterwards
the rh- blood causes a lot of problems for our mothers
judiasm and jewish descent including rh negativity is important
judiasm is unlike the other religions we have today, in fact i would argue if one were to compare judiasm to "religion" as it its not truly a religion at all (though it has TURNED INTO ONE)
i am speaking more strongly about the practice and knowledge of jewish mysticism & its origins
there is a link between its mysticism, RH- blood, neanderthals, spirituality and autism
it seems like i'm just taking random things and saying they are connected
lol, it's okay to think that, but when you start looking into things like shuckling during the reading of a prayer...to the rocking and swaying of an autistic in deep thought...there are patterns,
