How common is avoidance amongst aspies/autistics?

I am glad your blood pressure is lower. Stress can be a major factor in it rising. That is one positive about following your own path. You are more relaxed.

I feel nervous when people are around, also with family or friends. In some cases I can feel more relaxed, but there is always a basic level of uneasyness. Personally I think this is, because I need to withdraw on a regular basis, and am not able to do that. I some cases I can just zone out shortly, but when there are too many people around, this becomes impossible.

If possible I like to avoid social situations as much as possible.
