Yes, it's been observed and actual genes associated.

My mother has ADHD traits, my father apparently has AS traits. I don't blame either for anything. Since I am usually okay with being alive, I can't complain too much.

I have a female second cousin on my mothers side who has aspergers.
I have a male second cousin on my fathers side who has aspergers.

I have wondered if this was purely coincidence or whether it may have, unknowlingly to my parents, played some part in why my mother and father were attracted to each other as a dominant gene looking to propogate itself.

Neither. I had a traumatic birth. My mother's side is definately weirder though.

My Mother, probably, although my cousin on my Father's side of the family is speculated to suffer from AS, and she is only 3 years of age!

Who cares? it ends when I'm dying cold and alone, heroically on some distant battlefield, just as I like it. When I join the Legion Next year.

and the linage ends with me anyways.

It was a rethorical comment. I was commenting about myself in particular, and declining to answer, because personally it doesn't matter.... I have it, it sucks, life sucks, and I'm broke in a communist dictatorship...

I beg your pardon. I am sorry that things are hard for you. I hope that you can become happier.

It's ok. I'm happy enough to have met and interacted with my half sister, and I'm glad she doesn't have Aspergers. But my dad has something, my uncle in Hong Kong definatly, my uncle (but since he survived WWII, and communism. Trauma might be the cause of his issues), and my Cousin has it.

I never knew my dad because he... well, died when I was just a baby. But.. everyone tells me that I remind them of him so much, especially in my odd behavior. So I suspect he was probably an aspie. So maybe I got it from his side. My mom's more bipolar than anything.

Dad's side. Both of my parents are normal ('cool', in the words of peers), but my dad has a few traits, as well as his mom, cousins, uncle, and ESPECIALLY his grandfather.

Father at first guess, but my mothers' side has alot of people who have one or more neural deviant persons walking about.

Both sides of the family have persons with autism present.
