I find liking a console just because a certain company makes it to be rather idiotic. You should like the console for what games it has. The Xbox though is a decent console, for despite it's many games being watered-down PC ports, it does have some truly excellent exclusives like Ninja Gaiden Black, Otogi II, and Panzer Dragoon Orta. (Note: I hate Halo).

If the PSP accepted PS2 DVDs, it would be a no-brainer. As now, I don't want to pay for the same games twice. (Note, the best handheld ever was the SEGA Nomad).

My favourite is the SNES, even though the majority of the games I've played for the system I played with an emulator. Just so many good RPGs to choose from, plus other great games like Puyo Puyo provided heaps of multiplayer fun. I might've liked Playstation if more quality JRPGs had been released in Europe & Australia.

I really miss Dreamcast, its my favourite. I had such hopes that Sega could make a comeback with this one. They really had innovative ideas for the console and really cool plans to come. But Sega's unique games are what I enjoyed the most.

Hear hear; Dreamcast represented a mini golden age for me. It still bugs me that Sony PR sent the Dreamcast to an early grave.

Nowadays, I'm getting the most enjoyment out of my DS. Loads of interesting games, and homebrew-friendly to boot.

I am shockingly interested in the DS, if only because Bleach DS appears to be the spiritual sequel to Guardian Heroes (both games are made by Treasure Corporation).

Xbox and Xbox 360 systems + Halo series = :D

But I also really liked Super Mario World on the SNES and the original Sonic the Hedgehog games on the Sega Genesis.

I kinda figured that you'd like it, seeing as your name is a composite of Penitent Tangent and Guilty Spark. Me, I dislike Halo as it feels too much like it's ripping off Starcraft. (Everyone get to the Siege Tank...I mean Scorpion. We need to fight the Protoss...I mean Covenant before the Zerg...I mean Flood overruns us.
