I am not clumsy...okay, I can't play a sport for the life of me, but I have pretty sharp fine motor skills (drawing, flute, etc.)

I can (or at least I think I can) hold a conversation and follow the 'rules' enough to pass as completely NT

Repetitive routines or rituals
I think so.

Can engage in tasks (sometimes mudane ones) for hours and hours
Oh yes.

Flat, or blank expression much of the time
Yup, but it's been improving recently- I tend to smile a little more now.

Doesn't always recognize faces right away (even close loved ones)
I remember the faces of people I'm often in touch with, but others, not so easily.

Strong sensitivity to sound, touch, taste, sight, and smell (e.g. fabrics—won’t wear certain things, fluorescent lights)
Sound and smell, yes. The rest, not much at all.

Sensitivity to the texture of foods
A little.

Eccentric personality
I think so myself, but other people see me as normal.

Being "in their own world" / Preoccupied with their own agenda
I have a need to stay in touch with the outside world, so I don't get too immersive.

Highly gifted in one or more areas, e.g. math, music, etc
Math: definitely not! Music, perhaps.

Likes and dislikes can be very rigid
For sure. This is probably my strongest Aspie trait.

Can spend hours in the library researching, loves learning and information
When I want to know something, it turns into my main priority. I'm a lifetime student, and there's nothing I value more than knowledge.

May have difficulty staying in college despite a high level of intelligence
Yes.

Limited interests / Intense focus on one or two subjects
Aye, to the point of obsession. Not that I don't have many interests, but if I'm very interested in something, nothing else matters for a while.

Clumsiness / Uncoordinated motor movements
Sigh, yes. It's less worse when I'm totally alone.

Speech and language peculiarities / hyperlexia
Language is what I've always been very good at.

Word repetition
Yup.

Lack of interest in other people
This trait doesn't belong to me. I like hearing about other people's situations, or listening to what they have to say. Rarely do I not care.

Lack of empathy at times
Yeah, but I'm rather sympathetic in nature.

Difficulty understanding others’ feelings
I usually understand how they feel, but I don't feel associated with people who show their emotions too strongly, and too often. It is irrational.

Can obsess about having friends to prove they’re “normal”
Yeah. I hate to be thought of as weird.

Great difficulty with small-talk and chatter
Ugh, yes. I can't stand talking about close-minded personal issues, I'd rather hold a debate about global concerns or some interest, anytime.

Focus and diligence
When it really interests me, it becomes my world.

Independent, unique thinking
Indeed.

Attention to detail – sometimes with painstaking perfection
Not that much. I look at things broadly most of the time, I think.

Honesty
I rarely lie.

Logic over emotion
Of course. Emotion is what makes people do stupid things.
