How do you do in group settings?

Always IDed as the know it all of classes thanks to my addiction to news,and certain other issues facing America.

I just sit and listen when the rest spitball their moronic ideas and then when they turn to me and say: Oh, why are you so quiet?!
I then reply that I'm listening and that it all sounds like a good idea and then I choose/vote on the crappiest best idea their feeble minds have so chaotically concocted.
I then lean back and point out what area I want to cover in the assignment/whatever it is and then I sneak out of class to get something to eat or drink.
I've never had anyone being mean to me because they know I'll just just verbally rape them with some personal truths I've picked up through being vigilant.
I was quite liked in collage and always very kind, they didn't know about me having AS but I knew they all saw me as different and odd. And they also knew I was very creative with words and could get very very nasty when it came to insults.

So that's about it. Radiate confidence, do your part in the group and wait till the next assignment is a solo one.

I'm usually silent unless there is something the group has dead wrong. I step in and correct them. Then I am seen as a tactless and condescending. In college I usually dropped classes with group projects.

I think I'm the opposite of Mike Mulligan's steam shovel. The more people surround me and watch, the slower I function. I just love referencing children's books.
