Not so innocent btw. The smile is so fake i want to go back in time and tell little you that if you want , you can just not smile for the picture! just, don't smile if you don't feel like smiling....omg you were very cute

Very acute of you. :)
My bald = normally the reason I had a fake smile, to keep all those cheek grabbers happy.

This is a picture that better portrays me.
I was always inspecting the fine details.
I can still remember the feel of that cold boulder through the material, the patterns in the stone, its hard shiny point with a slate like surface.
When I moved it from side to side the light was bouncing off different surfaces.

My family were all enthusiastic about climbing this big hill, I couldn't work out why, don't get me wrong I loved every walk, but I just didn't understand why you'd want to walk up a hill, just to walk back down again, it made no sense.

I like this picture...you look autistic in a good way! Very inquisitive and attentive to detail (like you said). In your other picture you look sort of stiff and awkward (cute nonetheless) like I was describing but my pictures are worse...I look so strange...I wish I had a scanner so I could post a couple of them

In many childhood photos I would be sitting on my mum's lap, even clinging to her like a little koala. There's a picture of me at the beach and I'm looking down (I looked down a lot) and my fingers are positioned in a weird way like I'm stimming. In photos with other children I'm looking away and there's a large gap between myself and them.
My mum always said I looked weird in photos too, like I could never look directly at the camera. People always had to force a smile out of me too.
Actually these days when a camera is on me I don't know what to do.

My fingers were almost always positioned in a strange way like I was stimming....but only when I was a young child 9 and under..........

I don't think I look autistic at all. You tell me:

I don't think you look autistic in that picture....you look very happy and normal (and cute) :)

I have to change my mental image of you now though....I always pictured you as a Japanese woman because of your location :)

You look pretty normal to me. Your eyes might be a little unfocused, but it's hard to be sure.

You really remind me of my niece when she was that age. Are you part Asian?

North Wales, possible Llandudno, not quite sure, my Grandparents had a caravan in Towyn North Wales UK, and they took me different places every weekend.
I climbed lots of hills and they all look the same to me.
My Grandad once dragged me up Mount Snowdon aged 8, I almost got to the top.
If you look at the picture below I got to the point where the grass turns into the razor top edge with HUGE drop down either sides.
I couldn't do it, I'd ran out of energy, my Grandad was pushing me to continue but I literally laid down and went to sleep.
I woke up back in the caravan, after he'd carried me on his shoulder back down the mountain.
I did managed to climb it at age 10 though.

Agreed! I absolutely love places with that kind of geography. :D I hope to live somewhere like that someday.

Here is the follow on picture as well as a few from when we reached the top.
I'm pretty sure it's Llandudno now because of that cable behind me, it was a chair lift.
As you may notice I'm stimming.

I don't look particularly autistic in childhood photos. The only thing is that I look kind of unfocused because I'm not looking directly at the camera.

I didn't want to take up too much space in the thread by keeping the pics in my reply...but you were SO cute........and that is more like how I looked in my pictures face scrunched, hiding, stimming.... :)
