I think this is the idea. maybe not exclusively for aspies, but to create a real aspie-friendly community where our unique aspie talents aren't merely tolerated, they're embraced and recognized as a vital part of the community.
In my city there's an aspie meetup group. I haven't yet gotten out to one of their events, but my understanding is that a person can go and introduce themself and then sit like a bump on a log just observing for the rest of the time, or they can throw themselves into the conversation/activities etc if they're so inclined, or even wander off if that suits them. sounds nice, doesn't it?
