I don't get attached to a lot of products, but because I grew up working class, I feel the need to use them for as long as they are functional. I did not get rid of my previous laptop until it took over 15 minutes to open a Mircosoft Word document.
What objects I do get attached to are related to my interests or family sentimentality. My maternal grandmother (who was basically my best friend) had bracelets that are used similarly to how Catholics use those colored beads, except they're fabric. I lost two of those (one in bed that fell off, another on a farm I volunteered on fell into the dirt) and broke two religious imagry necklaces by accident, and yet I still felt guilty about these incedents. I also kept my oldest Beanie Baby plushes and donated the newest looking ones. I really only have one, maybe two hobbies that can be collected for. In one of those, I can't stand how the collectibles do not perfectly resemble how the characters appear on screen, and I bought the ones that were the closest after significant time devoted to research (even as a 9 year old).

No surprise here, but I was very attached to a stuffed toy Siamese cat when I was a child.
