Having AS doesn't mean you have superpowers

Yeah well I can sense when a storm is coming, I can easily communicate with some animals...not like you would communitcate with a person its a bit hard to explain so I wont go into detail. I can sense peoples auras a lot of the time, I can feel the presence of living things like if someone silently sneaks into the room I can feel that they are there. Also if a t.v looks like its off but its not...I can hear that slight electrical noise and it annoys me a lot.

sure maybe not 'super' powers, but certianly things a lot of people can't do.

I can tell when fluorescent lights are about to die by looking at them. Can sense slight changes in atmospheric temperature. Can hear high-frequency sounds others can't. Natural aptitude for propositional logic...Not as awesome as a synesthete, but still pretty cool.

I can convert nitrogen and oxygen to carbon dioxide.

Stand back, lesser mortals.

Sadly, I have no superpowers. Unless you count kissing boo-boos.

Being hard on yourself or striving for brilliance is ultimately counterproductive. Brilliance is hard to reach for most people whether they have AS or not. The end result of chasing that will leave most people feeling disappointed, inadequate and upset.

I have plenty of super powers but I have no idea if it's due to AS so I will say it's due to being me. But hey everyone has their own super powers I would say.

One of my best superpowers is not missing my husband or baby when I am at work or when I am away or when my husband is away at work or when he has gone to see his brother. In fact I don't understand how people can miss their partners while they are at work. You will see them again that day so why miss them? Then on Babycenter I have read by women how them going back to work is hard and mom asking me if it's going to be hard for me when I return to work. It was easy, not hard at all. I will see him again when I get back so why would it be hard? I guess this is a super power I have.

oh but yes it does! my as friend (i am as too btw) says it gives him special powers and makes him smarter than everyone else. unfortunately he happens to have the power to make explosions with his ass!

So you are performing nuclear fission in your lungs? That is most definitely a super power. What are you doing with the extra proton?
