I've been called "weird," "strange," "freak," "freaky," "creepy," "cold," "psycho," and other variations. I've been compared to the "guy who kept to himself and never bothered anyone" which is code for "serial killer." One of the worst was a high school teacher who told me I gave her nightmares.

The only person who hasn't called me any of those things is my friend. :D

But then again, she's never called me "normal," either.

Not exactly. However, in elementary school, this girl said that other people said I was weird, our conversation went like this: (I will refer to myself as 'A')

Her: Do people like you A?

Me: Yeah, why?

Her: Because people are spreading rumours about you.

Me: Really?

Her: Yes, they say you are weird.

Me: Huh?

Her: They said "A is weird because of all the weird things she does".

Me: Really?

Her: Yes, someone in my class wrote a note about you, and the teacher got upset and told them not to do that.

Me: Oh.

Her: And someone wrote a nasty message about you in the washroom.

Me: Let me see.

Her: OK.

We go to the washroom.

Me: Where is it?

Her: It's in this stall.

Me: I don't see it.

Her: OK, maybe it's in this one.

Me: It's not here either.

Her: That's really weird.

Me: Maybe the janitor took it off.

Her: No, it was carved in.

Me: What did it say?

Her: It said "A is a big fat a**hole"

Me: Oh.

We left.

I am not sure if it was really true or not. Besides that, I have never got called "weird" before that I can remember.

Yeah, most people who've met me think I'm weird.

To me, they have said this more dirctly 'If she will get drunk, she will kill us all!'

I get called "different" more than I get called "Weird", but I suppose it is the same. Usually followed up with "Not that it's a bad thing, I have just never met someone like you before". Or some other variation.

It has been known to occur.

These days that assessment mostly comes from the good folks at PPR, some of who are as offended at my anomalous behavior as my 7th grade schoolchums were.

My relatives don't call me weird, because they're all used to me. I mean, most have known me from a tiny baby, and they all know that I'm the one with the disability, and so they've never known any better from me. And my cousins who are younger have adapted to me, and know my ''weird'' ways (if any), and so nobody in my family call me weird.

People outside my family...well, that's a bit different. I have people looking at me like I'm weird, talking to me like I'm weird, treating me like I'm weird, taking advantage of my weird and ''stupidness'', and the list goes on. They may not say it, but they do think it! I can see it a mile off! I f*****g hate myself and I wish they'll stop picking on me!! !! !! !! !! !

I do get called weird, and I take it as a compliment. I consider myself weird and I am quite content with that. I also get people using other words and phrases to say that I'm really different from most people, which is basically the same as weird. For instance, one of my friends said something like "You're not just different from all the ordinary people I know, you're also different from all the unusual people I know."

Admittedly, I have actually got people saying that they've met people weirder than me. Well, not in those exact words, but the way they said it meant that.
