I'm brave enough to have a mind of my own. :)

Except it's not , if your super smart like Tim Tex you can get ahead in life , if your an outsider without special skills or genius you even have difficulty holding a minimum wage job at McDonald's, is it any wonder most off us here are on long term unemployment or disability ?

and if you disagree with me your a liar or not ASD so their :)

This may sound disagreeable to some but I'm glad that I will probably remain unmarried and childless for the rest of my life. With all the financial problems already going on in my life, family would've just added to the burden.

Though my financial problems are due to being an aspie. So it's rather a Catch-22.

non-fashionable & non-glamourous = savings of thousands of dollars a year, plus I'm ready to leave the house within 10 minutes of getting out of bed. colleagues buy shoes, clothes, purses, makeup, hair products etc. that change every season (or more) and spend hours in front of the mirror

fascination with nature = free entertainment all the time. Today I saw an ant trying to take a dead spider back to its nest!

poor memory = easy to forget anger, don't hold grudges, good audience for people who tell the same stories over and over, especially old folks, who are often glad for some attention

I like the fact that I can't be bothered playing the social politics games that others play. It might leave me lonely but I'd rather that than give up my 'what you see is what you get' personality.

And I love not conforming.

I'm able to spend long periods of time by myself alone, and still be happy. :)

Because it makes me think and act different. I despise the idea of acting or dressing like someone else.

I can't think of a gift from it that is so enabling that it brings me contentment. Some of the gifts may help to distract and alleviate suffering. Even that's debatable in my mind. Yeah so i may find reading about the Kennedy Assassination for 6 hours kind of a good distraction and alleviation but it is also a complete waste of my productive time.

I can obtain expert or near-expert levels of knowledge on almost any topic with very little effort. That's definitely a help in university.

All it takes to cheer me up, while in the midst of a terrible depressed mood, is to spend time on my interests. Receiving a new Stargate action figure int he post can make me instantly happy and all my troubles are forgotten. That's remind me, I should be receiving my rare Daniel Jackson any day now.

I can get lost in my imagination for hours.

I glad that I don't care that much about makeup or fashion though I do struggle with what I call face maintenance.

I'm unaffected by the emotions of others.

The obsessions. I learn an incredible amount, and doing stuff that pertains to them puts me in the greatest mood. I learned how to play Total Eclipse of the Heart on piano yesterday (current obession is music) and it was easily one of the best days I've had this semester.

I have special interests that are unusual, and they make me happy. :D

I spent the past hour reading up on the theory of relativity. I can't imagine what it would be like not to be able to appreciate the awesomeness of tachyons.
