Visual anomalies
I don't remember how I've described the "bugs" to people before, but they're definitely not floaters (in my case at least... but they sound a lot like the same thing as described here). I went to see multiple optometrists and opthamologists and none found anything wrong with my eyes whatsoever. This was years ago, then I brought it up with my most recent optometrist and he said it had something to do with the eye/brain connection... I forget exactly what he said, so I wont try to describe it.
At any rate, at all times I see black dots like "bad tv reception" (as if you tune to a channel that has no broadcast and is the black and white "fuzz"... Replace what I'm looking at with the black dots, and leave the white dots there... but they're much much finer (smaller))
Additionally, when I look at the sky (daytime at least, I don't recall thinking about it at night), I see a hundred or so "bugs" (as they've been described here) swarming in and out of the "surface" of the sky (definitely more than just "floating" around... They move quite quickly and don't move in straight lines). I've seen them other places, but not often... But I *always* see them when I look at the sky... there's never been a time when I haven't, so it's not a conditional thing.
I also have issues with neon lights... They "bother" my eyes (can't really describe it any clearer than that).
