During my grandfathers funeral.... I was beaming at everyone including my aunt who was wailing over my grandfather's body and she took offence! My father had just arrived for the funeral and started weeping for his loss that's when I stopped and seeing which I started crying more for my dad's loss than mine. Through the sobs I was still smiling at people visiting the funeral. My mom who has aspergers however is mostly devoid of expressions.

When I went to my grandma's memorial service, I laughed when I saw her body. It was the first time I had seen a dead body and it was just out of nervousness but yeah... I laughed. Couldn't stop laughing afterwards. My granddad actually took it well and said that he was glad everyone wasn't crying.

I smile when nervous. I laugh at misfortune, mine included. I pour tears uncontrolably when angry. I wear a concerned look when sad. And look angry when intrigued. But mostly look blank.

I've tried to explain this to those close, some get it, most get confused or offended still though. But that's thier issue.

Edit; Oh and the one that really pisses people off. I wear a look of disgust when surprised/confused.

Ah! Now it totally makes sense why my thesis guide at school thinks I don't understand what she is teaching me sometimes! Just like you when I am intrigued I look angry and probably confused sometimes. I cry when I am angry too in the middle of anywhere :p I couldn't stop laughing one day during an exam and the professor kept telling me to stop! The comprehension passage was just too funny you see.. :p

Oh yeah when somebody I am not expecting turns up the look on my face usually drives them nuts :p They think they are not welcome...

If I have no expressions then people say I usually just look sad like I am in great depression or something
