Why are aspie guys so "quiet" online?

I know what you mean. I feel like that's one of the things that people (guys in particular) take as a challenge though, like if I say "shy" then they want to draw me out of my shell. Then I might get started on some topic and see their eyes glaze over & I think "I told you so". lol.
