Were you always picked last in PE games?

Teachers forced one of the teams to take me. The unlucky team typically responded by ignoring my existence. There were ocassional exceptions for baseball--I wasn't bad at baseball (I played shortstop in little league and was the cleanup hitter sometimes)... but I was weird and nobody at school wanted anything to do with me.

Not at first when I actualy had friends but after my so called friends had been put in other classrooms and abandoned me. I was always the favorite of the gym teacher and she would often feel sorry for me and make other kids pick me first or be my partner when we had to do stupid dances. Being forced to be my partner only made the other kids hate me even more.

Yes in grade school. In high school I was allowed to go off running on my own.

That. I was always the last one left, unless the coach picked and the team that I got put on always groaned and gave me the evil eye.

Yes ! Until they realised I was actually quite good at sports.Then I got picked 2nd last,because they still wanted their friends regardless.

I was always one of the last 1s picked if not last but that's partly because of psychical disabilities. I have a very rare low vision disorder that causes me to be extremely nearsighted & I'm borderline legally blind. I'm also not well coordinated but that may be related to having Essential Tremors. I'm also very slow to react to things. I mostly just stood there in team-sports but coach couldn't really force me to do anything due to disabilities

Yes! I was always the worst and people would go easy on me. I've got many bad memories and experiences with PE.

I went to a girl's school and I can tell you, girls can be so much more cruel than boys.
I was tall and not overweight or anything, but I was not liked by my peer group and I could be quite unco-ordinated, thus, when it came to things like rounders, where a couple of girls picked their teams, I was usually left til almost last or last, and yes, it did hurt at times. I was terrible at hitting the ball at the right time, and in games of hockey, some of the other girls would deliberately aim to whack me on the shins with their sticks. Eventually, I just took to hiding in the cloakrooms and refusing to get into PE kit at all...either that or I conveniently forgot to take it.

I was always very good at PE so I was chosen early. I may have been a little unpredictable in my behavior and coping with the game (it wasn't uncommon for me to meltdown during physical exertion), but I am very coordinated and always tried hard.

I was rubbish, so was always last until high school, when I was almost last!

Not particularly. I'm a darn good runner which is useful for quite a few sports.

Yes. At most sports I was picked last. Except for football and Red Rover. In football, I was very hard to tackle, even with six guys trying to bring me down. While playing Red Rover, I always held the other person's arm so tightly that nobody on the opposing side could break through.

I was always the last one picked for everything, no matter what it was.
Related: I remember when I was 12, this popular guy said that if our classroom was survivor, I'd be the first one voted off.
Kids can be cruel.

I could NEVER be beaten in Red Rover. I was like a bull. No one could ever break through and I could always break through the opposing team. My best friend tells me she hated Red Rover as a child becuase it's so bruatal. I can only imagine what she would think of being the opposing team.

I never played football. Probably because girls don't often play football. I know being a girl is probably part of the reason I was always picked last, but there were always at least five other girls in my class who were never picked last.

One of the many times I have flashbacks of was when we first had a co-ed gym class we were playing dodge ball one of the jocks wanted to beam a girl in the face with the ball because he thought it would be funny but when he had the ball the girls would hide behind the guys and scream they only came out when a geek ran up to throw the ball. The girls all wanted to catch a ball so bad so when a geek had the ball they would all look at him and talk crap. They were totally oblivios to the other ball they wanted to get a geek out so bad. We played with two balls (Just like guys do when we are in private ) The jocks tossed me the ball and yelled throw it at Chrissy so I tossed it at Chrissy she ran up to catch the ball and BLAM! right in the kisser the sound the strike made was sickening. She had a suprised look on her face the right side of her face was red and a little swollen. She started crying I think I was the only guy who felt bad about seeing her being blasted in the face. Even the other girls were laughing at her. The jocks kept saying "Sweet set up! Sweet set up!" to me so I know she thought I had something to do with it. Even though I always threw the ball at who they told me to since I was blind because I could not ware my glasses. I still feel bad about it and was in 1985.
