Mine's pretty obvious. AV stands for audio-video, or sometimes audiovisual. Frequently, aspies are geeks, but most geeks aspie or not, are computer geeks. They are proficient at programming them, solving problems with them, and making them do all sorts of neat stuff. While I do know a little bit about computer hardware, I'm not all that proficent with them, and get annoyed easily at Microsoft windows OS's.
Audiovisual geeks existed before computer geeks, primarily because A/V gear has been around for quite a long time. When I was in school, I was always the one the teacher picked to work the 16mm movie projector...the kid with the plastic-framed glasses and the goofy clothes. I've always loved messing with mixing boards, sound systems, video cameras, photography gear, film, and all that sort of stuff. I can be frequently found up in a projection booth, or behind a mixing board twisting knobs or tweaking equipment, or even just looking and admiring!
