In other words you have some redundancy built in case the 'she' doesn't register the first time  .

It's from Darts of Pleasure by Franz Ferdinand:
"Ich heisse Superfantastische, ich trinke Schampus mit Lachsfische"
(in German: my name is Superfantastic, I drink champagne with smoked fish)

I am into physics, psychology and philosophy. Among other things. At one point in my life I attempted to extract information from a lucid dream about the structure of the Universe so as I could construct a transdimensional device. I was answered with this shape and a wealth of other information which I can not seem to recall at this moment. At the time I was not aware what the shape signified or symbolized. After some searching I found a name. The experience was life changing. The rest is history.

The Constitution states that people have the right to impeach authority if they do not like its rule. Since god counts as authority, and I do not like his rule, I will impeach him!

(For the humor impaired, this is an atheist joke, ok?)

My name comes from the cult classic TV series "The Prisoner" which starred Patrick McGoohan. It's about a secret agent who resigns his post and it kidnapped and taken to a place called "The Village" where his unkown captors try to extract what he knows from him. Instead of having a name, he is called Number 6 and often says "I am not a number, I am a person" or "I am not a number, I am a free man!"

He wants to be an individual, not a number, as do most of us, we want to be individuals.

I've used this nickname since 92, when I used to chat on a local bbs in the small town where I went to college. The name comes from a comic that I was reading at the time called Eightball. The writer/artist's name is Dan Clowes and although he rarely puts out new issues of Eightball, two of his stories within the comic have been made into movies, Ghost World and Art School Confidential.

The character little octagon plays a very bit part in a short (im?)morality fable (about three pages) he did about how people exploit or manipulate each other to get what they want or need. Little Octagon, um, pleasures himself whenever he sees an octagon (with a picture of littleo on the ground in front of a stop sign) and the main character states that to make money, he cuts out paper octagons and sells them to him. My sense of humor almost always veers towards the perverse, twisted, and absurd so I found this bit very funny.

Which reminds me, if anyone here is into comics, I would recommend hunting down some old issues of an anthology comic called Dark Horse Presents. Within some of the issues is a strip called "Bob the Alien" about Bob (who is from Venus) and his misunderstandings about American culture. In retrospect it seems that Bob's view on things is indeed alien enough to be seen as aspie or autistic even. For example, he has a girlfriend he is living with who tells him not to flush the toilet while she is in the shower. He doesn't know why but figures that flushing the toilet causes the water (and piss) in the toilet to go directly through to the shower on the person in the shower. When he forgets and does this while she is in the shower (she shrieks), she wonders why he keeps his distance from her for the rest of the day. Or the blind date (who is actually blind) that he takes to an Irish Restaurant-McDonald's...

Mine's pretty obvious. AV stands for audio-video, or sometimes audiovisual. Frequently, aspies are geeks, but most geeks aspie or not, are computer geeks. They are proficient at programming them, solving problems with them, and making them do all sorts of neat stuff. While I do know a little bit about computer hardware, I'm not all that proficent with them, and get annoyed easily at Microsoft windows OS's.

Audiovisual geeks existed before computer geeks, primarily because A/V gear has been around for quite a long time. When I was in school, I was always the one the teacher picked to work the 16mm movie projector...the kid with the plastic-framed glasses and the goofy clothes. I've always loved messing with mixing boards, sound systems, video cameras, photography gear, film, and all that sort of stuff. I can be frequently found up in a projection booth, or behind a mixing board twisting knobs or tweaking equipment, or even just looking and admiring!

I can make a voice that sounds like stitch or a teletubby. Tinky Winky is a teletubby. He was also secretly plotting to take over the world...not sure yet if the other teletubbies were in on it....
