it wouldn't be better if somebody had any special interest in your money. it would be better that your money does indeed have special interest, however.

I know about a guy who was diagnosed later on in life, that because successful by obtaining a piece of software and making an OS out of it for the Altair computer...

I am not rich but I have had well paid jobs. It is much easier to have friends when your finances are good. When they are s**t then friends seem to forget you.

I have thought about your philosophy many times. So yes I agree, concentrating on getting rich is compensate for lack of social life etc. And if you were rich friends would suddenly flock to you.
