Tim Burton, Johnny Depp and their movies - I've had this obsession for almost 2 years now. It waxes and wanes in intensity, and I get really upset when it's on the downswing. Right now I'm satisfactorily obsessed, so I'm happy. :) Technically I'm only really obsessed with a handful of specific movies Tim and Johnny have done together: Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd and Edward Scissorhands. I'm also highly anticipating their next big feature, Dark Shadows. I've been keeping track of it on Google News since before it began production. I went nuts when the first photos of Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins were posted, and I know I'll have a massive freak-out when a trailer finally gets released.

Always nice to meet a fellow fan. :) I saw in your earlier post that you love Nightmare Before Christmas. It's a really good movie even though it's not one of my special interests. I know a guy at my mom's job who is so obsessed with it that he goes to the Nightmare-themed Haunted Mansion at Disneyland every Halloween, he has a Jack Skellington tattoo and for a brief period of time he had a dog named Sally.

Yep, the Haunted Mansion is awesome, especially when it's TNBC. I went to the museum of art in Los Angeles when they had the Tim Burton exhibit a while ago. They had stuff like costumes from Batman, the Edward Scissorhands suit, Beetlejuice stuff, Nightmare stuff...it was awesome.

The U.S. TV series Survivor is my biggest obsession. I love it, I never miss an episode, if I do miss an episode, I watch it online, I read about old seasons on Wikipedia, I've even named Tamagotchi pets after people on the show. Yep, I'm obsessed!

Lucky! I wanted to go to that exhibit so badly, but I can't drive and nobody would drive me there, so I missed it. I came really close to tears over not being able to go. But at least Tim himself wasn't there, or else I would have had a full-blown meltdown over missing it.

Weeds is probably one of the best tv shows ever created. I'm glad someone else sees that :)

This is what I try to tell everyone else. Weeds is brilliant! :D

I'm sorry you couldn't go. :(
I can drive, but I can't drive freeways, and there's no way I'd drive around L.A., panic attack city. So my family took me, it was kind of a birthday thing.

My obsessions are:
1) Music, I watch the same music videos/listen to the same songs, 50x in a row. In highschool I used to be obsessed with rock music. Now Im obsessed with watching kpop music videos cause of the dancing
2) Aspergers/Autism- strangely enough, Im not the only person on here with this obsession
3) My problems- more unpleasant obsessions, its more ocd rumination like
4) People, Im become fixated on a particular person. This is the creepy obsession.

ASDs, disablities, music, sexuality, altered states of conciousness, disasters, my dreams, bizarre stuff. Oh, and interesting people.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

Japan, Stories (In the form of Games, Books, Movies, whatever), Art, Anime/Manga(Which fall into the first three obsessions), and interesting (meaning abnormal, but not necessarily bad) human reactions or psychological states of mind.
